Fibonacci Award - Two Awards for Two Inspiring Women!

The Fibonacci is a very special blog award to be given out only to those bloggers and blogs whose work have inspired others. The blog should be one that would cause others to want to passionately create something new and in the process inspire someone else to create a new post and soon marvelous posts are being spawned at a ratio calculable only by some esoteric mathematical formula.
If you have received this award your site has been deemed exceptional in the areas of technical skill, graphic layout and worthy content. What must you do if you receive this award? La récompense Fibonacci est un honneur particulier réservé aux blogueurs dont le travail est une source d’inspiration pour les autres. Une femme au superbe regard, qui possède une capacité particulière à collectionner et créer un monde sensible et poétique qui sent l’herbe fraiche et le bois ciré. Un petit bazar plus cohérent qu’il n’y parait à première vue et terriblement inspirant!
Le second Fibonacci revient à l’adorable Aunia Kahn
Femme généreuse et prolifique mais surtout talentueuse artiste. Je souris quand je repense à notre découverte l’une de l’autre et comme nous trouvions déconcertante la connexion entre nos deux univers.
Mon seul regret est que tu vives sur un autre continent que le mien.
Ma chère Aunia, je suis fière de te remettre un prix et de présenter cette très belle image de toi ici.

A Walk in Dieweg Cemetery
Dimanche, octobre 11th, 2009Dieweg cemetery is an almost abandonned cemetery, built during 19th century in Brussels… If you love generous ivy and the company of the dead, you definitely have to go there…
I decided to walk in Dieweg this afternoon, despite a problematic camera and an angry weather… Were dead people happy to have some company? Anyway, the sun honored me with his presence and the camera has agreed to cooperate…
I had to make pictures in sepia because the camera has some problems with colors, but just before the closing, I’ve been able to do some pictures in color! And about a camera which doesn’t handle colors anymore, well it really surprised me!
This afternoon was definitely blessed… 
Le cimetière de Dieweg est un cimetière de Bruxelles datant du XIXe siècle et aujourd’hui quasi à l’abandon… Si vous aimez le lierre opulent et la compagnie des morts, ce lieu est pour vous…
Je m’étais décidée à aller m’y promener cet après-midi, malgré un appareil photo capricieux et un temps menaçant… Les morts étaient-ils heureux d’avoir de la compagnie? Toujours est-il que le soleil m’a fait l’honneur de sa présence et l’appareil photo a accepter de coopérer…
J’ai dû faire les images en sépia car l’appareil ne gère plus très bien les couleurs, mais juste avant la fermeture, j’ai eu la chance de pouvoir faire quelques photos en couleur! Et pour un appareil qui ne gère plus très bien les couleurs, eh bien il m’a vraiment surprise!
Cet après-midi était vraiment béni…

She wears a high waist green taffeta dress and I ‘ve made her a blue, mauve and pink box. I think I’d like to make her a small rag doll later. I definitely like the idea of a doll holding a smaller doll… It’s absurd and funny.
Enfin, ma poupée vampire est terminée!
Elle porte une robe de taffeta verte et je lui ai confectionnée une boite bleue, mauve et rose. J’aimerais encore lui fabriquer une poupée de chiffon. J’adore l’idée d’une poupée tenant une poupée plus petite… C’est absurde et marrant.
I’m pretty glad with the result, even if she’s not perfect at all… when I started I had no idea where I was going. I was doing it, just for pleasure and discovery and inside me I was almost sure that I would never finish it… Like so many projects I have in my mind or in a drawer…
By the way! I must talk to you about workshop we make every sunday! We named it the RMC, Royal Macramé Club! And I would never have finished my doll without the Royal Macramé Club!
I’ll talk about the Royal, in a later post…
Je suis assez contente du résultat même si elle n’est pas parfaite… je l’ai commencée, en ayant aucune idée de ce vers quoi je me dirigeais. Je l’ai fait pour le plaisir et la découverte mais au fond de moi, j’étais presque certaine que je ne la finirais jamais… Comme tant de projets que j’ai dans la tête ou dans un tiroir.
A ce propos, je dois impérativement vous parler de l’atelier que nous faisons chez nous tous les dimanches! Nous l’avons nommé le RMC, Royal Macramé Club et croyez-moi, je n’aurais jamais terminé ma poupée sans le Royal Macramé Club!
J’y consacrerai un prochain article…
